Educational Qualification RGU Guest Faculty Recruitment, 32 New Positions

For recruitment to all the vacant posts mentioned, it is mandatory for the candidate to hold the following mandatory qualifications-

  • Details of qualifications and experience etc., for the posts shall be as per the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education 2018, as amended from time to time, and as per other various provisions/ notifications provided by UGC/AICTE / NCTE/ ICAR/ other Statutory Regulatory Authorities. Further, the UGC notification No. F.25-1/2018(PS/MISC.) dated 28th January, 2019 and No. F.9-1/2010(PS/MISC)Pt. Vol.I, dated 11th October, 2021may also be referred to.

Pay Scale

  • The honorarium for the Guest faculty shall be ₹ 1,500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of ₹ 50,000/- per month as per UGC notification No.F.25-1/2018(PS/MISC.) dated 28th January, 2019.

Age Limit

  • As per UGC rules.

Selection Procedure

  • Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ overall record and performance in the interview.
  • All original documents against the claims shall be produced/ submitted at the time of interview for verification

Application Fees

  • Candidate belonging to General / OBC / EWS required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1000/-.
  • The SC/ST category required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.250/-.
  • PwBD need not pay the application fee.
    • The application fee is to be paid through the payment gateway provided by the University by online Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI etc.

Important Dates

The online applications portal will be functioning from the day publication of the advertisement to the last date of receipt of the application as prescribed in the advertisement.
