Educational Qualification & Experience – UPSC Officer Recruitment, 56 New Positions
For recruitment to all the vacant posts mentioned, it is mandatory for the candidate to hold the following mandatory qualifications-
| Aeronautical Officer | Degree in Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University. EXPERIENCE: Two years experience in aircraft design and development including aircraft electrical or electronics or mechanical systems or airworthiness engineering. |
| Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer | Degree in Engineering in Civil or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Masters Degree in Mathematics or Geography or Geophysics or Computer Applications or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Pass in the final examination of the institution of surveyors in subdivision1(B) Hydrographic surveying. (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.) EXPERIENCE: Three years experience in Nautical Chart Compilation and Digital Cartography. [Experience should be from Government or autonomous organization or statutory body or public sector undertaking or University or recognized research institution]. |
| Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II | Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution. EXPERIENCE: Three years’ experience of administration or establishment or accounts work. |

Selection Procedure
- The selection process shall comprise of an interview or by Recruitment Test.
- By holding a Recruitment Test. Generally, weightage in the ratio of 75:25 is accorded for marks in Recruitment Test and for marks in interview in determining final merit.
Application Fees
- Candidates UR/OBC/EWS are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.
- No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community.
