Educational Qualification & Experience – UPSC, 113 Specialist/Professor Vacancies, 2023

Specialist Grade III (Microbiology or Bacteriology)Doctor of Medicine (Bacteriology or relevant area.

At least three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree or five years’ experience after obtaining the Post Graduate diploma.
Specialist Grade III (Pathology)As indicated in Part-A, Section-A in Schedule-VI of CHS amendment Rules, 2019 i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Pathology); or Diplomate National Board (Pathology) or Doctor of Philosophy (Pathology) or Doctor of Science (Pathology).

At least three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree or five years’ experience after obtaining the
Post Graduate diploma.
Assistant Surgeon/Medical OfficerA recognized medical qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).

Senior Assistant Controller of MinesBachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Five years experience in core Mining activity in:- (a) Managerial position in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines which includes the period as graduate or management or junior trainee engineer.
Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Anatomy)Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy.
Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Community Medicine)Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy.
Desirable qualification holding Post Graduate degree in concerned subject recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Experience of working as R.M.O. and /or Senior Resident and/or House Physician in a Hospital attached to a Medical College permitted by Medical Council/Central Government.
Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology)Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy.

Pay Scale

  • Specialist Grade III (Microbiology or Bacteriology)/ Specialist Grade III (Pathology)/ Senior Assistant Controller of Mines
    • Level- 11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA.
  • Assistant Surgeon/ Professor/ Lecturer
    • Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA.

Age Limit

  • Maximum 40 years.

Selection Procedure

  • The selection process shall comprise of an Interview.

Application Fees

  • Candidates UR/OBC/EWS are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.
  • No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community.
