National Health Mission (NHM), Assam is looking for 699 applicants for the post of Community Health Officer from the passed out B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing candidates with the Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health as well as B.Sc. (Community Health).The CHO cadre is a part of an initiative under the Ayushman Bharat to strengthen SubCenters as Health and Wellness Centers (H&WCs) for extending comprehensive package of services under primary health care at Sub Centres by strengthening the implementation of public health programmes, including disease prevention, and health promotion.
