Educational Qualification & Experience – NIA Inspector Recruitment, 97 New Positions
For recruitment to all the vacant posts mentioned, it is mandatory for the candidate to hold the following mandatory qualifications-
| Inspector | Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university; and Two years’ experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter terrorism. |
| Sub Inspector | Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university; and Experience of two years in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operation or Information Technology cases or Training in counter terrorism. |
| Assistant Sub- Inspector | Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent; and Experience of at least two years in the field of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology Management. |
Pay Scale

Age Limit
- Maximum age shall be 56 years as on 10-09-2023.
Selection Procedure
- The selection process shall comprise of a written exam/ interview.
Nature of duties
- Accompany to CIO (Chief Investigation Officer).
- Part of raid/search/seizure team.
- Securing crime scene.
- Execution of summon and warrant.
- Collection of intelligence.
- Ground verification of intelligence inputs.
- Guarding/security of accused while in custody.
- Any other duty assigned by Superior Authority time to time.
