Educational Qualification & Experience- MHSRB Medical Officer Recruitment, 156 New Positions
For recruitment to all the vacant posts mentioned, it is mandatory for the candidate to hold the following mandatory qualifications-
- Must possess a Degree in Ayurveda for Medical Officer (Ayurveda); Degree in Homeo for Medical Officer (Homeo);
- Degree in Unani for Medical Officer (Unani) as the case may be; awarded by a university in India established or incorporated by or under central Act or State Act or Provincial Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants commission or any statutory Board of the State Government after having undergone a regular course of Institutional study in the respective systems both in theory and practice for a period not less than 4 1/2 years duration in a teaching institution recognized by the university or state government with one year compulsory internship, as on date of notification.

Age Limit
- The applicants should possess a minimum age of 18 years and cannot exceed maximum age of 44 years as on 01/07/2023.
Selection Procedure
- The selected process shall be based on 100 points of which
- Maximum of 80 points will be awarded for percentage of marks obtained in qualifying exam.
- Maximum of 20 points will be awarded for service in state government hospitals/ institutions/ programmers on contract/outsourced basis.
- Shortlisted applicants who are in the zone of selection only, will be called for certificate verification.

Application Fees
- Candidate belonging to General category required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.500/-.
- The SC/ST/BC/EWS/PH/Ex-servicemen category required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.200/-.
- Applicants belonging to other states are not exempted from payment of Fee.
- The fee is to be paid online through payment gateway.
