Educational Qualification & Experience – Mazagon Dock Shipbuilder Trade Apprentice Recruitment, 466 New Positions
For recruitment to all the vacant posts mentioned, it is mandatory for the candidate to hold the following mandatory qualifications-
| Group “A”(10th Class Passed ) | The candidate should have Passed SSC in with General Science & Mathematics. Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / EWS / DIVYANG/ AFC, and Pass Class for SC/ST Only. In case of passing criteria is best of 5 subjects taken General Science & Mathematics Should be the Part of the Qualifying Board Curriculum & Candidate should have passed, Otherwise Application will be rejected. Though the qualifying criteria is SSC, the candidates with Higher qualification may also apply. However, eligibility will be based on SSC marks qualification only. |
| Group “B”(I.T.I Passed) | Passed ITI in Fitter / Electrician /ICTSM / Electronic Mechanic/ Plumber / Welder / Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Carpenter / Refrigeration and Air conditioning (RAC) trades from Govt./ Govt recognized Institute. Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / EWS / DIVYANG/ AFC, and Pass Class for SC/ST Only. Applicant should have passed ITI in above trades only, however in case of Fitter Structural trade, applicants belonging to ITI Fitter Trade can apply. |
| Group “C”(8th Class Passed ) | 8th Std. under (10 + 2) system Passed with Science & Mathematics. Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / EWS / DIVYANG / AFC, and Pass Class for SC/ST Only. Though the qualifying criterion is 8th Std, the candidates with Higher qualification may also apply. However, eligibility will be based on 8th Std. qualification only |

Age Limit

Selection Procedure
- The selection process shall comprise of a three stages.
- First Stage- Online Examination (Computer based test)
- Second Stage – Document Verification & Trade Allotment.
- Third Stage -Medical Examination
Application Fees
- Candidate belonging to (UR)/OBC/EWS/AFC categories required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.100/-plus bank charges applicable.
- The SC/ST/PwD category need not pay the application fee.
